Exports

Build CSV exports of calls, chats, contacts and the audit log on the server, then download them.

Settings, Exports builds CSV files on the server, so large exports don't depend on your browser staying open. Pick what to export and a time range, start the job, and download the file when it is ready.

Settings, Exports: export jobs with status, row counts and download links

Start an export#

Choose the data#

Pick Calls, Chats, Contacts or Audit log.

Choose the range#

Pick Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days or All time. The range filters on the record's creation time (chat start time for chats). Contacts are always exported in full.

Click New export#

The job appears with the status Building. The page refreshes every 1.5 seconds while a job is building.

Download#

When the status is Ready, click Download CSV. The file is named <kind>-<yyyy-mm-dd>.csv. A job that fails shows Failed with its error.

Columns#

Kind Columns Row cap
calls call_id, agent_id, call_type, direction, from_number, to_number, call_status, start_timestamp, end_timestamp, duration_ms, disconnection_reason, user_sentiment, call_successful, call_summary, combined_cost, transcript 50,000 newest
chats chat_id, chat_agent_id, channel, chat_status, start_timestamp, end_timestamp, chat_summary, transcript None
contacts phone_number, first_name, last_name, email, do_not_call, then one column per custom field None
audit_log created_timestamp, actor_type, actor_label, action, target_type, target_id, ip, details 50,000 newest

Values that contain commas, quotes or line breaks are quoted. Objects are written as JSON.

Exports reflect what is stored. If an agent uses Everything except PII or Basic attributes only, the exported transcripts are scrubbed or empty. See Data storage and retention.

Access#

Members can list and download existing exports but cannot start one, because starting an export is a write. Starting and downloading exports is recorded in the audit log as export.create and export.download. API keys need the admin scope (or no scopes) to use these endpoints.

Call History also offers CSV export of calls; see Call history.
