You can attach contacts to a Conductor conversation as context. Conductor does not create, edit, import or delete contacts.
Attach a contact#
- Side panel: choose the paperclip, then the Contacts tab in Attach context. Search by name or number and choose Attach.
- Home: the + button in the composer opens the same Attach context picker.
For each attached contact, Conductor reads:
| Field | Source |
|---|---|
| Name | First and last name, or the phone number when there is no name |
| Contact id | |
| Number of calls | Calls linked to the contact |
| Memory | The contact's memory text, or "none" |
It does not read the contact's other fields or the calls themselves. Attach the calls too (up to 10 attachments in total) if you want Conductor to look at them.
What to ask#
- "What do we know about this caller?" summarises the contact's memory.
- "This caller has called many times. Look at these calls and tell me why they keep calling back." (with the contact and their calls attached)
- "Write a test case where this caller rings again about the same problem." (with the agent attached as well)
Guided tour#
There is no contacts-specific tour. Typing "contacts" in Guided tour gives the general "Build and launch an agent" tour.
