Update concurrency settings

Set reserved inbound slots and turn concurrency burst on or off.

PATCHhttps://api.tried.com.au/update-concurrency-settings

Changes how the workspace shares its concurrency between inbound and outbound calls, and whether it may burst above the limit. Fields you leave out keep their current value.

Request#

Field Type Required Description
reserved_inbound_concurrency integer No Slots held back for inbound calls. Minimum 0. Outbound and web calls are admitted only while current_concurrency is below concurrency_limit minus this value. Inbound calls may use the whole limit. A value above concurrency_limit is stored but read back capped at the limit.
burst_enabled boolean No With burst on, a call over the base limit is admitted up to the burst ceiling (the lower of 3x the limit and the limit plus 300) and is flagged so a burst surcharge applies to it.

Example request#

curl -X PATCH https://api.tried.com.au/update-concurrency-settings \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $TRIED_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"reserved_inbound_concurrency": 5, "burst_enabled": true}'
const res = await fetch("https://api.tried.com.au/update-concurrency-settings", {
  method: "PATCH",
  headers: {
    Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.TRIED_API_KEY}`,
    "Content-Type": "application/json",
  },
  body: JSON.stringify({ reserved_inbound_concurrency: 5, burst_enabled: true }),
});
const settings = await res.json();
import os, requests

res = requests.patch(
    "https://api.tried.com.au/update-concurrency-settings",
    headers={"Authorization": f"Bearer {os.environ['TRIED_API_KEY']}"},
    json={"reserved_inbound_concurrency": 5, "burst_enabled": True},
)
settings = res.json()

Response#

200 OK

Returns the settings after the update, in the same shape as Get concurrency settings.
